The IBM RS/6000* 32H is a powerful multi-user, multi-tasking, desktop computing system. The 32H is based on IBM's Performance Optimization With Enhanced RISC (POWER) Architecture and is designed for balanced system performance providing a high-speed floating-point processor with concurrent instruction execution. It features a 25 MHz CPU and contains 16MB to 128MB of memory and 400-MB to 800-MB internal disk. Multiple distributed I/O processors are used to further enhance system performance by off loading the CPU I/O control processing of high-performance devices. It can be installed in either a vertical or horizontal position. The 32H offers flexibility with a wide variety of optional features and input/output devices to provide increased function, connectivity and price performance with the AIX* Version 3 for RS/6000.

Deepblue è una workstation 7012-320H (nota anche come 32H) recuperata per un colpo di culo e trasportata a mano (15 kg) fino a casa coi mezzi pubblici. Annunciato nel 1991, rappresenta la prima serie delle workstation PowerRisc IBM. Questo modello era l'entry-level della gamma, destinato a essere impiegato sopratutto per CAD, modellazione 2D e 3D.
Il sistema operativo è una delle prime versioni di AIX, lo Unix proprietario di IBM.

Oggi l'architettura POWER è giunta alla versione 5 e costituisce la base di BlueGene, attualmente il supercomputer più potente del mondo.
